Barry's set for the club was full of passion and love for the living tradition of folk music. Equipped with a small but amazingly powerful acoustic guitar, his original material mixed seamlessly alongside the well known traditional numbers. As well as great songs his explanations before each added a sense of history and his voice has a vulnerability which will warm any audience to him.
